I am very disappointed in the customer service I received at Tapper Ford Service. My car broke down, so a few days later, I arranged to have it towed to Tapper since they had done the oil changes, inspections, etc. for the past two years. First, it was towed to Tapper GMC/Chevy instead of Tapper Ford which resulted in it not getting looked at until two days after it was towed there. When parts were ordered for the repair, we were told it would take 4 days to get parts in. Six days later, I called because I had not heard anything. It took until the seventh day to get ahold of anyone, and that was a result of me calling back because no one called me. They then told me that the parts had not arrived and they didn’t know when to expect them. I called about three more times after that only to learn that the parts had finally arrived after two weeks. Not once did I receive a phone call; I had to call every time to get information. It then took 1 week to fix the vehicle, and even then, they did not fix everything. When the transmission was pulled apart for the first repair, they did not inform me of another repair that was needed until after the car was “done.” This resulted in extra labor fees that could have been avoided with a phone call. Not only that, but when I picked up the car, the new issue was not brought to my attention. My husband drove the car home and realized a gear was grinding. Then, we called to ask about it and the person who answered the phone was a bit rude and said that she could not memorize every order. We do not expect that, but we would have expected that a receipt be looked over by the employee when they hand it and the keys over to the owner. All in all, I’m very disappointed with the customer service I received. Phone calls and transparency are not much to ask for. I will not be taking my business back to Tapper.
We have had very good experiences here. We bought our vehicles at other dealers but we were not impressed with there service, but tapper ford has taken very good care of us
This was the 3rd car I've purchased from Josh Wright, and two of them were bought in the past six weeks. We like Josh's approach of never putting any pressure on us at anytime throughout the process, and his timely follow ups and calls are an example of great customer service. I gave him a list of what I required in a car, and he worked for weeks showing me multiple cars before we found the right one. The overall buying experience was fantastic from the moment we walked into the door, to finalizing the deal with Desmond. It's service like this that keeps us coming back.
